It is with great pleasure to inform you that we launch a new WECO E-Commerce release shortly.

The highlight of release 9 is Headless e-Commerce. Thanks to this advanced technical approach, there is complete decoupling between web shop front end and SAP back end. For a smooth communication between front- and backend WECO offers REStful micro services for all  shop functions. A new WECO frontend is provided as a progressive web app ("PWA") based on popular web development framework Angular. 
As shop operator you benefit from extremely high flexibility in the frontend design and your customers benefit from a very appealing user experience. In addition to the WECO standard frontend, customers can implemented their own frontends.

From the beginning Besi had a clear idea of their future webshop. Complete integration into the SAP ERP system and user friendliness had the highest priority.
In order for the entire process chain to be digitally transformed, Besi customers should have the option of importing their shopping cart into their own purchasing system. This works via a standardized OCI interface.

The parts shop allows customers to purchase genuine spare parts and accessories for DEUTZ engines fast and safely online. Its biggest advantage compared to regular web shops: the system has direct access to the complete DEUTZ engine documentation. The shop can be accessed using the individual engine numbers, making sure that the user always receives the right part guaranteed to fit their DEUTZ engine.

So that you can start the new business year with your WECO Webshop right from the start, we will provide you with our new WECO E-Commerce Release 8.0 from January 2019. Surprise your customers with numerous new functions, which further increase user-friendliness and attractiveness. So that you can also save costs, you will find extensive simplifications in the webshop administration. Of course, our existing WECO customers will receive the new release free of charge within the scope of their maintenance contract.

We are proud to inform you that WECO E-Commerce has received the SAP certification as integrated in SAP S/4HANA®. Thus our existing and future customers once again have the certainty that our product will not negatively influence their SAP ERP or S/4HANA system in any way.

WECO E-Commerce Procurement now offers a standard interface to Amazon Business. Via this standard interface you can automatically transfer shopping baskets from Amazon Business to WECO. After all approval stages have been completed in SAP and the order has been created, it can be automatically transferred to Amazon. cXML is used as the interface format. cXML is a powerful, open language developed specifically for B2B e-commerce. The interface functions have been tested and approved by Amazon.

The Jauch group of companies with its headquarte in Villingen-Schwennigen, Germany is one of the major specialists in quartz, oscillators and battery technology.

As a SAP customer they were looking for an integrated E-Commerce solution to provide a tool for developers of electronic devices to configure and order sample oscillators. With the new solution Jauch wants to improve its customer service even more by delivering samples fast and straightforward, in order to be a step ahead in competition.

The project schedule was quite challenging, only 4 weeks to get everyhting up and running. A very nice example, how quick WECO E-Commerce can be implemented, even in a SME.
